Correct interaction between all chassis components ensures stable and safe road holding. The genuine Volvo coupling rods form the link between the fixed vehicle frame and the stabilizer bar and have the task of transferring the upward and downward movements of the vehicle that occur during driving to the stabilizer bar. In other words, they couple the driving movements with the chassis. In doing so, they ensure safe and stable road holding and minimize the vehicle's sideways movement when cornering. A properly functioning chassis plays a key role in ensuring the high safety standards you are accustomed to as a Volvo driver, which is why defects in important chassis components should be repaired as soon as possible.
